Learn more about the dos and don’ts of dating while enjoying a delicious free doughnut! The Students' Union is far more than a multi award winning bar and night club with a great range of evening events. If we can’t help you with your query, or if we agree that you would benefit from further support from another service, we will either signpost or refer you during your drop-in appointment. If you need an emergency appointment, or the drop-in timetable really can’t work for you because of other commitments, we can offer occasional discretionary appointments at outside of these times. Our job is to ensure you have the information and support you need to make informed choices about your case and to make sure that the University follows its own processes. If you need to mitigate, we can help you by giving you someone to talk through your options with, and we can also provide a checking service to check your mitigation form and evidence.
If you do not consent to a case file being opened, you can tell us in your email.
We are here to provide advice and support, however you are ultimately responsible for submitting your mitigation and deciding when to submit.
At UWLSU we understand that life can have its hiccups.
If you have a face to face appointment you will be asked to complete an enquiry form, where you can give your consent for a case to be opened.
If you receive advice over the phone, we will ask for your consent to record personal details and open a case file for you.
