Blackberry not updating google contacts

Settings within the Social Networking application itself may need to be changed to make sure the new notifications show up in the Android Notification Tray. There's been an issue identified with Android and Microsoft where an Android device integrated with an Active Sync email that enforces policies will suddenly lose the capability to sync email with the mail server. We may be able to assist determining some of these settings using Account configuration: Sync interval: This setting specifies how often the Black Berry Hub application will ask for new items (Mail, Calendar, Contacts – Memo/Task if available for integration type).Use push if supported: If your account supports a protocol that supports push (IMAP, MS Active Sync, etc) the email server will alert the application when new mail is available as opposed to waiting until the next scheduled time (Sync interval).

Note: Configuring to automatically download outside of WIFI coverage, or while roaming, may lead to addition monthly data charges.

As a workaround you can remove the account and manually configure as an IMAP account during re-integration, please see steps above for configuration information.

More information on this can be found by clicking here.

Notifications can be adjusted via Settings/Sound & notification, or within the application settings.

Sync PIM items: These settings control whether or not the supported PIM items (Calendar, Contacts, Memos, and Tasks) will be wirelessly synchronized to the application.
